Features of low frequency inverters

The low-frequency inverter is a kind of inverter, and its basic function is also DC to AC. But it also has its own characteristics. The work of the low-frequency inverter is generally to invert direct current into low-frequency low-voltage alternating current, and then boost it into 220V, 50HZ alternating current through the power frequency transformer for the load to use.
Compared with high-frequency inverters, low-frequency inverters have the following characteristics:
1. At low power, the cost is higher than that of high frequency machines.
2. The weight and volume are much larger than the high frequency machine of the same power.
3. The efficiency is lower than that of the high-frequency machine, and the iron loss is basically unchanged when running under full load and light load, so the no-load loss when running under light load is relatively large.
4. The reliability is higher than that of the high-frequency machine, and it is not easy to break.
5. The load capacity, especially the shock load capacity, is better than that of the high-frequency machine, and can suppress the high-order harmonic components in the waveform
6. The structure is relatively simple, and the overload and short circuit protection is easier to make than the high frequency machine.

Low-frequency inverters are suitable for places with high stability requirements, such as: power systems, communication systems, railway systems, shipping, hospitals, shopping malls, schools, building fire alarm systems and other places, complete sets of solar and wind power generation equipment.
